Artisan Guide
How to join BettaTrust, get verified, accept jobs, and get paid on time — every time.
Apply to Join
Download the BettaTrust Artisan app. Sign up and select your primary trade (e.g. Plumber, Electrician, Carpenter). You'll be required to submit:
- checkA valid government-issued ID (NIN, Voter's Card, or Driver's Licence)
- checkProof of skill (certificates, photos of past work)
- checkTwo character references
- checkYour passport photograph
Get Verified by a Supervisor
A BettaTrust Supervisor will review your application and may conduct a brief in-person skills assessment. This typically takes 3–5 working days. Once verified, your profile goes live and you can start receiving job requests.
Joining is completely free. BettaTrust only earns a small commission from successfully completed and paid jobs.
Receive & Accept Job Requests
When a customer requests a service in your trade and location, you'll receive a push notification with the job details. You can accept or decline within 15 minutes. If you accept, you'll be shown the customer's address and scheduled date.
Attend & Complete the Job
Arrive on time, perform your inspection, and confirm the materials needed. The BettaTrust Supervisor will have already prepared the quote based on your report. Once the customer completes their payment and you receive the go-ahead, carry out the work to the best of your ability.
warningProfessionalism matters
Late arrivals, unprofessional conduct, or poor workmanship will affect your rating and may lead to suspension from the platform.
Get Paid
Once you mark the job as done, the customer reviews the work. When they approve, the secured funds are instantly released to your BettaTrust wallet. You can withdraw to your bank account at any time, with withdrawals processed within 24 hours on business days.
