How does the BettaTrust payment protection work?
When you accept a quote from an artisan, you are required to pay the funds into BettaTrust's secure payment wallet. The artisan will see that the money is secured by us and proceed to do the job. We only send the money to the artisan after you have marked the job as "Satisfactory" on the app.
What happens if the artisan does a bad job?
If the work is substandard, you can raise an issue in the app. The artisan will not be paid. One of our qualified BettaTrust Supervisors will physically inspect the job and mandate the artisan to fix it, or we will issue you a full refund.
Is the Call-out/Transport fee refundable?
No. If an artisan reports to your location to inspect the job and give you a quote, the call-out fee is paid to them even if you refuse their quote. This protects our artisans' time and transport costs in traffic.
