Everything you need to know to book, pay, and manage services safely on BettaTrust.
Create Your Account
Download the BettaTrust app from the App Store or Google Play. Sign up with your phone number — we'll send a one-time password (OTP) to verify it. Fill in your name, address , and a profile photo.
infoYour address is used to match you with nearby artisans. It is never shared publicly.
Request a Service
Tap the "Request Service" button on your home screen. Choose a category (Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, etc.), describe your problem in detail, and upload photos if helpful. Select your preferred date and time window for the artisan to visit.
Review the Call-out Visit
A verified artisan will visit your location to inspect the job. This visit has a non-refundable call-out fee(typically ₦1,000 – ₦2,000) that covers the artisan's transport regardless of whether you accept their quote.

The call-out fee is charged even if you decline the quote. It compensates the artisan for their time and transport costs.
Accept a Quote & Make Secure Payment
After inspection, the BettaTrust Supervisor generates an itemized quote. You'll receive a PDF breakdown of all materials, labor, and fees. If you accept, pay the full amount into BettaTrust's secure system via bank transfer or card. The artisan does not receive any money yet.
Approve the Completed Job
Once the artisan marks the job as done, you'll get a notification. Inspect the work carefully. If satisfied, tap "Approve & Release Payment" — the secured funds are then released to the artisan instantly.
