Disputes & Refunds
We stand behind every job on BettaTrust. If something goes wrong, here is how we make it right.
When Should You Raise a Dispute?
Poor Workmanship
The job was completed but the quality does not meet the agreed standard described in the quote.
Incomplete Work
The artisan left before finishing all the items in the quote but the job was marked as done.
Excessive Delays
The artisan repeatedly failed to show up on the agreed date and time without communication.
Unprofessional Conduct
The artisan behaved inappropriately, damaged property, or created a safety hazard.
The Dispute Process
File a Dispute in the App
Open the completed job in your app and tap "Raise Dispute". Describe the issue clearly and attach photos or videos as evidence. You have up to 72 hours after the job is marked complete to raise a dispute.
Funds are Frozen
The moment a dispute is filed, the booking funds are frozen. No money moves until the dispute is resolved. This protects you as the customer.
Supervisor Physical Inspection
A qualified BettaTrust Supervisor will contact you to schedule a site visit within 24–48 hours. They will inspect the work, review the original quote, and speak with both parties.
Resolution — Fix or Refund
Based on the Supervisor's findings, one of two outcomes will occur:
buildMandated Redo
The artisan is required to return and correct the work within an agreed timeframe at no extra cost to you.
paymentsFull Refund
If the artisan is found to be at fault and unable or unwilling to fix the work, a full refund is processed back to your payment source.
