4. Prohibited Activities

• Create multiple fraudulent accounts.

5. Fraud & Criminal Activity

BettaTrust may report suspected criminal activity to the appropriate authorities.

6. Platform Circumvention

To protect the integrity of the Platform and the investments BettaTrust makes in verification, technology, customer support, and quality assurance:

Customers and Professionals must not:

• Arrange bookings outside BettaTrust after first meeting through the Platform.
• Exchange personal payment details for the purpose of avoiding BettaTrust.
• Encourage off-platform payments.
• Request cash payments for Platform bookings.
• Share bank account details to bypass BettaTrust.
• Ask Customers to cancel Platform bookings and continue privately.
• Accept direct payment for services sourced through BettaTrust.
• Create fake bookings to exchange contact information.

Attempting to avoid Platform service fees or customer protection measures is a serious violation of this Policy.

7. Communication Rules

Users must communicate respectfully.

The following are prohibited:

• Threats.
• Harassment.
• Hate speech.
• Discrimination.
• Bullying.
• Offensive language.
• Sexual harassment.
• Intimidation.
• Defamation.
• Spam.
• Repeated unwanted messages.

BettaTrust reserves the right to moderate communications made through the Platform.

8. Professional Standards

Professionals must:

• Perform services honestly.
• Arrive on time where reasonably possible.
• Respect Customer property.
• Maintain professionalism.
• Use lawful work practices.
• Follow safety standards.
• Deliver services within their verified expertise.
• Maintain valid licences or certifications where legally required.

Professionals must not accept work they are not qualified to perform.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

• Provide accurate job descriptions.
• Provide safe access to the work site.
• Treat Professionals respectfully.
• Cooperate during service delivery.
• Pay only through BettaTrust.
• Report concerns honestly.

Customers must not misuse the review system or submit false complaints.

10. Payment Rules

For the protection of all users:

All quotations, deposits, milestone payments, final balances, invoices, and service payments must be made exclusively through the BettaTrust Platform or an officially approved BettaTrust payment method.

Customers must never:

• Pay Professionals directly.
• Transfer money outside BettaTrust.
• Use cash for Platform bookings.

Professionals must never:

• Request direct payment.
• Accept off-platform payments.
• Offer discounts in exchange for bypassing BettaTrust.
• Share personal payment details for Platform jobs.

Keeping payments within BettaTrust ensures:

• Secure transactions.
• Verified payment records.
• Customer Protection.
• Complaint support.
• Refund eligibility where applicable.
• Dispute Resolution.
• Transparent service history.

11. Transactions Outside BettaTrust

Services booked or paid for outside the BettaTrust Platform are not eligible for:

• Customer Protection.
• Secure payment support.
• Complaint investigation.
• Refund assessment.
• Service guarantees.
• Dispute Resolution.
• Verified transaction records.
• Platform monitoring.

Customers and Professionals who choose to transact outside the Platform do so independently and entirely at their own risk.

12. Reviews & Ratings

Users may leave honest reviews based on genuine experiences.

Users must not:

• Post fake reviews.
• Manipulate ratings.
• Offer payment for reviews.
• Threaten negative reviews to obtain refunds.
• Publish defamatory statements.

BettaTrust may remove reviews that violate this Policy.

• Reproduce Platform content.
• Use BettaTrust logos without permission.
• Copy software or Platform features.
• Reverse engineer any part of the Platform.

• Hack the Platform.
• Introduce malware or viruses.
• Interfere with Platform operations.

• Collect user information without authorization.
• Use automated systems to scrape Platform data without written permission.

15. Business Clients & Vendors

Business Clients and Vendors must:

• Honour contractual obligations.
• Maintain professional conduct.

16. Consequences of Violations

If a user violates this Policy, BettaTrust may take one or more of the following actions:

• Remove content.
• Cancel bookings.
• Suspend transactions.
• Restrict Platform access.
• Suspend or terminate accounts.
• Remove Professionals from the Platform.
• Withhold payouts where permitted by law or contract.
• Remove verification status.
• Report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

BettaTrust reserves the right to take immediate action where necessary to protect users or the integrity of the Platform.

17. Reporting Violations

Users are encouraged to report suspected violations through:

• The BettaTrust mobile application.

Reports will be reviewed confidentially, and appropriate action will be taken where necessary.
